Lute FP I'm still processing this, really not sure how to describe it. A little doomy, definitely dark rock. Excellent songwriting, but it's the female vocals which really makes this stand out. I feel like there's some Debbie Harry in there, if not in tone or style at least in how she just makes you feel the songs- tragic, compelling, yet a little poppy. This is growing on me in a major way with every spin.

Harry Harrison I have been sitting on this one for what seems like an age. I’ve had the same dilemma as Steve but it took me longer to get over it. These guys remind me of Indie Alternative legends ‘Come’. Laid back grooves that are way too enjoyable for their own good. Favorite track: Dead Woman.

jamroom Great vocals and guitar sounds, together with real attitude and swagger make this one of the best rock albums I have heard in a while. Favorite track: Make It Rain.
Bucky thumbnail
Bucky My grandma used to have a chair just like that one and I loved it. This sounds haggard, gritty, dark and hazy, yet progressively comfortable and refreshing much like that chair looks. Would my grandma like it? Absolutely not. She hated her chair too.

MattyBmusic Don't usually buy this kind of thing, but I'm a sucker for female vocalists. Crisp guitars, brooding, killer vocals, and a nice variation between tracks makes this one of my favorite recent purchases. Favorite track: Loner.
The Shrieks From Below
The Shrieks From Below thumbnail
The Shrieks From Below I've hovered over this for the last couple of days, one minute I nearly pressed the buy button, then withdrew when my wife mentioned that she quite liked it. I've finally decided to take the plunge. why?
I haven't a clue, I just like it. It reminds me of a much less fuzzy and trippy BARDO POND crossed with ARBOURETUM
